Sarine Announces Opening of Second AI-Based Sarine Technology Laboratory

Sarine Technologies Ltd has announced the opening of its second Sarine Technology Laboratory, in Mumbai, India, which will offer a full range of grading and documentation services to the key Indian polishing centres. The first Sarine lab opened in Ramat Gan, Israel, earlier this year.

The Sarine Technology Lab offers reports covering the broadest range of diamond information available in the market today, including AI-based automated 4Cs grading, diamond authentication, treatments verification, light performance, the Sarine Diamond JourneyTM rough to polish documentation, advanced interactive diamond imaging, and more.

David Block, Chief Executive Officer of the Sarine Group, said, “The Mumbai lab's opening is a critical step. It will enable us to provide an efficient, local solution for our high-volume retail customers, by certifying their diamonds immediately after they are polished. This will allow the majority of retailers, who buy diamonds directly from Indian suppliers, to benefit from our ground-breaking digital reports. In today's evolving retail environment, diamond manufacturers and sellers must focus on enhancing the consumer experience and raising consumer confidence in the quality of their diamonds. Sarine is delighted to be at the forefront of this developing practice in the diamond industry."
