Sarin Technologies to open GalaxyTM service centre in Mumbai

Sarin Technologies Ltd plans to launch a second GalaxyTM service centre in India, responding to demand from Indian manufacturers in the Mumbai. The service centre would offer scanning and mapping of internal inclusions in rough diamonds. The facility will operate in Dahisar Diamond Industrial zone outside Mumbai, for which Sarin’s wholly owned Indian subsidiary, Sarin Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (“Sarin India”) has entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to lease the required area. The centre will be operated by Sarin India. Diamond manufacturers in Dahisar will also be able to access the QuazerTM II sawing services at the new centre.

Currently Sarin operates a facility in Surat, India. Oded Ben Shmuel, the General Manager of Sarin India commented, "With these new service centres dedicated to the Mumbai diamond industry, our customers here too will be able to take advantage of the revolutionary GalaxyTM 1000 system, as well as the seamless linking of the GalaxyTM inclusion mapping output and AdvisorTM optimal planning to the QuazerTM II, by utilising the StrategistTM system, without the hassle and expense of shipping (and insuring) their diamonds to and from Surat.”
