SRK opens its most advanced factory in Surat

Shree Ramkrishna Export (SRK) inaugurated its new diamond manufacturing facility in India’s diamond cutting and polishing hub -Surat, and has built it on the world’s most technologically advanced processes to lend new benchmarks for standards in diamond cutting & polishing. Govind Dholakia, Chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Export described this as ‘ a landmark day in the history of SRK’ . This state-of-the-art 250,000 sq.ft. facility was inaugurated by Varda Shine DTC CEO and Guest of Honour at the event, along with colleagues from De Beers Group and the Diamond Trading Company (DTC).

Govind Dholakia further added that, “This facility ranks among the most modern and efficient diamond manufacturing plants in the world and strengthens our ability to produce the finest diamonds for our growing customer base.”

The project took three years in the making and now boasts off the latest diamond planning & cutting equipment, sophisticated IT network solutions designed by HP, and highly advanced security systems. It consolidates the operations of the company.
