The building has successfully achieved the score of 95/100 points. The score has been calculated against various parameters as Monthly Average Arc Performance Score. The score was computed on a continuous and real-time basis, and the average of Energy Consumption, Water Consumption, Waste Management System, Transportation System, and Human Experience index.

This milestone comes close on the heels of the October 2021 announcement when SRK Empire was listed amongst world’s Top 6 green buildings. Since then, the crafting facility was consistently ranked amongst Top 5 green buildings.

Inaugurated in 2011 by Varda Shine, the then Managing Director of the Diamond Trading Company (DTC), SRK Empire had achieved the LEED Gold rating in 2015 and then got enhanced to Platinum Certification status from US Green Building Council (USGBC) in 2018, making it the “First manufacturing facility in India and the Asia region”, and also the first in the gem and jewellery sector across the world to be awarded the Platinum rating by USGBC.

The state-of-the-art facility in Surat operates daily with nearly 4000 people, and houses technologically advanced equipment and systems.
