Rapaport conference to discuss industry’s future

"2010 —The Next Decade: The Future of the Diamond Industry," is defined as topic of discussion for the forthcoming annual Rapaport International Diamond Conference. The event is decided to be held on 8 September 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, in New York City.

Invited speakers - Ralph Destino, chairman of the Gemological Institute of America; Neal Goldberg, president and Chief Executive Officer of Zale Corp.; and Rahul Kadakia, senior vice president of Christie's Americas, will discuss topics like new economics of globalisation, technology, branding and marketing, and commoditisation.
