The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) has certified Lazare Kaplan International Inc.(LKI)– diamond manufacturing company headquartered in New York. The certification is for the company having met with the ethical, human rights, social and environmental standards as established by the RJC's Member Certification System.

The company views this as a confirmation of LKI's commitment to the highest standards of business, social, and environmental best practice. Its successful verification assessment was conducted by Vidhi Aggarwal from SGS, a independent third-party auditing firm accredited to the RJC's Member Certification System.
