Q1 luxury consumer confidence goes up in US: Survey

According to the survey conducted by Unity marketing, a market research firm, American luxury consumers’ confidence in the first quarter of 2007, has risen two points to reach 100.2, up from its lowest level in 2006 at the close of the fourth quarter.

The firm that surveyed 1,003 people with an average income of $159,000.

Luxury consumers spent on average $14,024 on luxury goods and services.
According to the survey increased spending on home luxuries, resulted in this quarters increase.
