Pieces of Empowerment Jewellery displayed at Donna Distefano atelier

Pieces from the Empowerment Jewellery line created by Designer Ambassadors to favor the Diamond Empowerment Fund’s (D.E.F) mission of charity, were on display for a viewing at the Donna Distefano atelier in New York, reports say. May jewellery professionals gathered at the event to take a look at the products. Close to 10 percent of the retail cost of each product will be donated to DEF towards beneficiation of educational programs in the diamond-producing countries of Africa, reports suggest.

The pieces unveiled included a green tsavorite and diamond pendant from Royal Asscher, “Illumination” bracelets by Donna Distefano; and three watches from the Banneker watch company.

The “Illumination” bracelets exemplify symbolic African designs in sterling silver and diamonds. The three bracelets are crafted in suede having a silver and diamond and buckle.

The green tsavorite and diamond pendant comes from the Shining Stars of Africa collection by Royal Asscher.

Banneker DEF watches include materials of diamonds, Ebony wood, Mahogany wood. There is the “Euro Face” collection and the “Large Face” collection
