Peregrine Diamonds raises capital through share placement

Canada’s Peregrine Diamonds Ltd., a mineral exploration company, has raised funds through shares, to be invested in helping the company to further its mineral exploration projects in Canada which include Chidliak, Nanuq, Qilaq and Lac de Gras, reports say.

The company raised $2,192,649, through a non-brokered private placement of 10,441,189 common shares. The shares were priced at $0.21 per share and will be sold on a "flow-through" basis following the Income Tax Act (Canada). The shares would be bought by institutional investors and some company directors, reports say. Also, the company would pay around $128,971 as a cash finder's fee, for Placement proceeds from placees introduced by Secutor Capital Management Corp.
