This year, around 450 exhibitors will participate across the event categories of Signature Club, Studded Jewellery, Plain Gold Jewellery, Loose Stones, International etc. The show will also include special sections like the Artisan Awards Gallery, showcasing outstanding pieces created on the theme ‘Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema’ for the Artisan Jewellery Design Awards. The awards are being distributed at an exclusive evening event on Day One of the show.
Signature as a platform has grown into a smaller version of the IIJS trade event held every year, having garnered interest from Indian as well as international buyers. Retail and manufacturing meet on this platform on a one-to-one basis. Organisers have promoted the event across international markets like Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Egypt, attracting buyers. Also, delegations from UK, UAE, China, Italy, Hungary, CIS countries, Nepal, Bangladesh and Iran are expected to attend. The show this year would see visitors from over 350 cities and towns pan India, noted GJEPC, as per reports. Also, the organisers have eased norms allowing each company to register up to six staff members as against the earlier four, owing to popular demand, reports add.
