New sample processing plant launched near Rio Tinto’s Bunder Project

A sample processing plant has been set up at Rio Tinto’s Bunder Project in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The plant was inaugurated at the hands of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, in presence of esteemed officials of Rio Tintio. The set up of the plant is expected to assist the mining company in analysing grades of its diamond deposit from its Bunder project, reports say.

The plant has been built as an automated, eco-friendly state-of-the-art plant with capacity to process 10 tonnes per hour, reports add. It is likely to produce initial results by the end of this year, reports say.
