The country has already sold over 50% of the production
Namibia’s diamond output up 102%

Namibia’s diamond production increased 102 percent y-o-y, between January-May 2010. It amounted to 580,000 carats, of which Namibia has sold 455,000 carats in the said period, reports say.

In the year long span of 2009, the country produced around 929,006 carats and reports add that going by the production of this year so far, the country is likely to produce 1.4 million carats at the end of 2010.
