MJSA elects two new directors

In the process of its elections, the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) has appointed two new directors - Lee Krombholz and Bimal Das. Krombholz is an award winning designer, is the owner of Krombholz Jewelers and Just Like You Designs. Krombholz also serves on the MJSA Custom Design Advisory Council and has in the past served as president of Mid-America Jewelers Association. Das is currently director of ScotiaMocatta, a precious metals division of the Scotiabank Group and has in the past was a currency trader at Asia Fx Pte. Ltd. based in Chennai, India.

The MJSA also saw the return of David Pillow, president of Innovative Design Group in Richland Hills, Texas as director to the board.

It has also re-elected its sitting officers on the board of directors to a second term including MSJA chairman David Meleski, president of Richline Group; vice chair Edward DeCristofaro, president of LDC Inc; vice chair Michael Toback, president of Myron Toback Co; secretary Stuart Lee, vice president of marketing at Sterling Jeweler; treasurer Ann Arnold, vice president of Lieberfarb, and chairman of the MJSA education foundation Richard Powers, president of Cookson.
