Lucapa recovers another four large diamonds at Lulo
Recovered at Mining Area 8, the diamonds are over 10.8 carats each
The diamonds recovered have irregular shapes and sharp jagged edges, which the company notes points to the surrounding kimberlite targets being the potential primary sources of these exceptional diamonds, reports say. There have also been additional indicators in the form of garnets and ilmenites.
The company has also identified the E259 kimberlite and two other kimberlites – L13and L15 as potential sources for large alluvial diamonds.
