Lucapa clocks A$ 9.6 million worth of sales from latest Lulo sale

The latest sale of diamonds from the Lulo Project generated gross proceeds worth around A$ 9.6 million (US$ 6.8 million) achieving an average selling price of A$ 7,126 (US$ 5,075) per carat, as per an announcement by Lucapa Diamond Company Limited, Endiama E.P and private local partner Rosas & Petalas. With this, the company clocked a total sales of A$ 32.5 million in the March quarter for selling 1,931 carats of diamonds. The sales proceeds of the 404 carat Lulo gem worth A$ 22.5 million is also part of this value. The company noted that the sales generated in the said quarter reflect the high quality of diamonds mined at Lulo as being the best in the world, as per reports.
