Lev Leviev to suspend 80 employees

A feud between the management and workers has caused a heavy lay off of 80 employees at the Lev Leviev Diamond (LLD) polishing factory in Windhoek, Namibia. The employees in question had accused the company's general manager Mike Nesongano of using foul and abusive language, poor administration, unfair dismissals and favouring foreign employees. They had asked for his resignation.

The workers now face a disciplinary hearing. The company has assured that the loss of persons would not affect the production, as the factory sis not receive a good quantum of roughs to work with.
