Kisna Diamond Marathon- Run for Swachh Bharat

Hari Krishna Group organised a 21K, 10K and 6KKisna Diamond Marathon. Shubham Joshi- Youngest Marathon Runner and Brand Ambassador of Global run 2017 flagged off the race at 5:30 AM, 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM with a participation of over 3000 individuals who ran for a cause on 3^rd December, 2017 in BKC, Mumbai. The runners were geared up not only because it was a sports event but an event with a social cause.

This mega occasion has sparked the joy of running within many runners including HK employees. The roads of BKC, Mumbai were graced by some of the finest athletes from across the State along with other running enthusiasts who put their best foot forward to achieve their desired goals.

The race originated at MMRDA, BKC with medical arrangements along the route. The runners were sufficiently hydrated as there were water stations along the race track.

Ghanshyam Dholakia the Founder of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. said, “This is the 3rd time we have organised Kisna Diamond Marathon but we have had over 3000 participants for the very first time. I’m overwhelmed with the response we have received. It has been an incredible event and a great run for us. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is launched as a responsibility of each and every Indian citizen to make this country a Swachh country. Hari Krishna Group has supported this initiative since its inception. The money generated through this event will go towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.”

The eventful morning concluded with an awards ceremony and a spirit of sportsmanship. Chief guests at the award ceremony were Shri Ujjwal Nikam- Public Prosecutor, Aniket Nikam and Shri Krishna Prakash- IPS, Ironmen Triathlon. The winners went home with beautiful diamond jewellery from Kisna. HK employees who won bagged bicycles.
