Kama Schachter organises Annual Sports Meet 2014

As part of its Employee Development & Internal Social Responsibility programme, Mumbai headquartered Kama Schachter recently organised its Annual Sports Meet 2014 in the city.

The initiative focuses on fostering team culture among the employees, illustrating constructive competitiveness and the importance of teamwork. The company employs nearly 1000 employees across its three locations in Mumbai. The Annual Sports Meet is an opportunity for the Kama family to gather and to build interpersonal relationship between the employees, promote companionship, commitment and teamwork.

The Annual Sports Meet saw over 850 employees participate. The participants were divided in six different teams. There were a variety of sports being played including a race of 100m and 400m, Relay Races, Long Jump, Football, Cricket Tournament and Tug of War.

Seniors in the company including Colin Shah, Managing Director, Kama Schachter were present at the event. “At Kama, we believe in working hard & having fun!! The Annual Sports Meet plays an instrumental role in emphasising the role of teamwork within the organisation. This year in the effort to boost employee morale and recognise their hard work, we felicitated several best employees with Employee of the Month accolade.” Mr.Shah said.
