The forthcoming JOVELLA 2011, will be the first time that the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) is hosting an Israeli Diamond Pavilion on home ground. This is the 8th international jewelry and diamond exhibition in Israel.

Eleven diamond companies from the country including Diamond Plus, Avi Paz Fancy Diamonds, Eddie Faltz Diamonds, Aritan Diamonds, Bendiaco Ltd., Mirage Diamonds, Nissim Mayer DID, Tzoffey’s Diam, Mordechai Turgeman Diamonds, Anita Diamonds and Moshiashvili Isaac., will feature at the pavilion. They will showcase loose polished diamonds in standard and special cuts – for the trade including jewellers, jewellery manufacturers and designers, along with high-end diamond jewellery in 18K yellow, rose and white gold targeting buyers from Israel and abroad, and the public who are invited to visit JOVELLA a few hours before closing.

Nissim Palomo, IDI Chief Marketing Officer, said “Our industry sells billions of dollars of diamonds annually in markets around the world. We participate in dozens of international trade shows in far-flung locations. This is a unique opportunity for Israeli diamond companies to exhibit their products close to home,” he said.

Apart from the Israeli pavilion, JOVELLA 2011 will feature exhibitors of gold jewelry, gold jewelry set with diamonds or precious stones, silver jewelry and fashion jewelry. In addition it will have a special Designers’ Boulevard and will display works of 50 jewelry design students from Shenkar College.

The 8th annual exhibition is being held from July 5 – 6, 2011 in Tel Aviv. It is organized by the Stier Group, with the sponsorship of the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI), the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, the Israel Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce.

From beginning July 2011, IDI is organising an exhibition of De Beers Shining Lights diamond jewellery design competition at the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum in Ramat Gan, and expects a crowd, as it is just in sync with the JOVELLA 2011.
