The Jewelry Information Center (JIC), the consumer education arm of Jewelers of America (JA), has announced three GEM Award nominees in the categories of communications, design and media excellence. This is a new format for the GEM Awards gala, now in its 12th year, as the winner in each category will be revealed live during the ceremony on Friday, January 10, 2014, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. The nominees are individuals and companies whose work amplifies JIC’s mission to raise the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches.

The nominees for the GEM Award for communications are: LoveGold, TACORI,Tiffany & Co.

The nominees for the GEM Award for design are: Irene Neuwirth, Kara Ross, Monica Rich Kosann.

The nominees for the GEM Award for media excellence are: Beth Bernstein, Benjamin Clymer, Victoria Gomelsky.

GEM Awards 2014 will also honor a recipient in the category of Lifetime Achievement. The winner of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award will be announced soon.
