Inhorgenta Munich 2012 ends on positive note

At the end of the Inhorgenta Munich 2012, the 39th edition of this Watch and Jewellery Fair, a positive mood was what most exhibitors left with, according to the organizers. The trade fair was slated between February 10-13, 2012. This year the show introduced changes, including a new segmentation format, new and clearly structured hall layouts, stylish communication and relaxation zones, which were well appreciated by exhibitors.

This year rounded up an increase in the exhibitor count to 1,134 exhibitors from 37 nations, or a 5.8 percent increase over last year. Around 30,000 trade visitors from 80 countries (2011: 32,292) participated in the four days of the event that spanned February 10-13, 2012. What underlined as enthusiastic buyer turnout was that around one third of the total number of trade visitors came from outside Germany, with strongest contingents being from Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. The highest increases in visitor numbers were seen in those from Scandinavian countries of Finland, Norway and Sweden, and for Israel, Japan and South Africa. Because of the economic situation, however, visitor numbers from Greece, Italy and Spain declined.

Business across segments was good, according to the organizers. Exhibitors reportedly responded with reaction of “Great customers and a great mood”, “great atmosphere” , “overall positive mood”.

The organizers are expecting many new exhibitors at INHORGENTA MUNICH in 2013 and have many existing exhibitors wanting to book larger booths.
