The Best Piece of Jewelry award is a Public Choice Award, while there is a jury to judge the remaining categories. The Jury includes Franziska Knuppe, a leading German model and UNICEF ambassador; Shermine Shahrivar, the It girl and model and former Miss Germany (2004) and Miss Europe (2005); fashion designer Michael Michalsky,; Prof Christine Ludeke, currently Head of Department of “Jewellery and Objects from Everyday Culture” at the School of Design Pforzheim; retail expert Anja Heiden also a member of the managing team at Wempe; writer Julia Ktharina Hettich, and writer and journalist Gisbert L. Brunner.
The show’s CEO Klaus Dittrich noted that the ‘Inhorgenta Award reinforces the Industry's self-confidence’. Also, he further added that 2016 saw a good response to the introduction of a new hall idea and events and forums and is looking forward to 2017 with optimism. The Inhorgenta Award is part of the objective to establish Inhorgenta Munich as a business platform for the whole year and not only for four days.
The Awards will be presented on February 19, 2017 at a grand gala function. Applications are being accepted for keen participants to the competition.
