The year 2013, marks a beginning of a journey that promises to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit for creative thinking and panache amalgamated with innovation in the realm of jewellery design for many years ahead.

In its third year, IJ Jewellers Choice Design Awards has set a higher pedestle of jewellery design in our industry by honouring the outstanding work and applauding the most innovative jewellery designs that contain a power of setting a global trend. With the year 2013 facing few of the biggest turmoils in terms of trade, unique deisgns and innovation in jewellery designs have come to light as a surviving trait. The IJ Jewellers Choice Design Awards were set in motion to motivate and praise such designs and give a spotlight to the hard work of such designers and manufacturers.

With the help of votes of over 1000 retailers across the country first round of voting on an online platform has been concluded. The results have shown that out of 500 designs from 70 companies across India, 96 have been nominated in 24 categories.

These 96 designs will be judged on various parameters by an esteemed jury panel consisting of renowned names from the trade along with some celebrated names from other creative fields such as architecture and films.

The designs will be showcased at the grand jury meet on November 30th, 2013 at the Sofitel Hotel, BKC, Mumbai.
