IIJW -Mumbai 2013: Auro Gold scintillates with beautiful and unconventional jewellery

The Auro Gold Jewellery Pvt. Ltd., jewellery showcase at the India International Jewellery Show 2013 presented striking creativity which also took an unconventional bent. Necklaces, bangles, earrings, rings, gold strips and wires, shimmering balls, chains and intricate designs, were part of the collection. There were different types of chains (Auro Gold’s expertise in this segment) like the box, snake, and diamond faceted versions.

The show’s opening piece was a gold hasli and earrings enamelled with red worn by actress Pooja Kumar seen in the film “Vishwaswaroop”.

The designs and forms taking on unconventional twists were seen in the cross over necklace and earrings in shades of antique gold and polkis, a collar-cum-placket neckpiece in burnished gold and uncut diamonds, the cuff-cum- bracelet inspired by the extinct Dodo bird. Earrings and necklaces matched the latter bringing the inspiration of the environment, flora and fauna to the forefront.

A gold mesh collar with tiny ruby detailing and a full ring covering the centre finger was a stand out at the show. Ending the show was a lapel shaped necklace of uncut diamonds.

Auro gold also took this opportunity to express its social endeavors by donating cheques for Rs 11,11,111 and Rs 9,99,999 towards the Uttaranchal Relief Fund.
