The International Gem Tower(IGT) executive team has released its three month tour agenda, travelling across major diamond markets in the world, to meet with both prospective and existing clients. The trip begins in Miami for the annual Jewelers International Showcase (JIS), from January 22 to 24, Antwerp from January 31 to February 2, at the second annual by-invitation-only Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair, organized by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), at the Diamond Club of Antwerp and Antwerp Diamond Bourse. The team will visit Arizona in February at the AGTA GemFair Tucson, to Miami for the Original Miami Beach Antique Show from February 3 to 7, to the Hong Kong International Jewelry Show from March 4 to 8 at the Hong Kong Convention Exhibition Centre and finally at Switzerland for Baselworld, from March 24 to 31.
Raizy Haas, senior vice president for Extell Development, notes that IGT principals have established wonderful relationships with associations in key diamond, gem and jewellery trade centers worldwide. In addition, their leaders and members have been extremely helpful and forthcoming in making introductions, and providing valuable input in order to help create the most conducive business environment.
The International Gem Tower is being constructed as a 34-story tower in New York's Diamond District, and will house leading names in the diamond and gem and jewellery industry. construction is likely to be completed by 2011.
