IGI to host on-site diamond laboratory in Dubai at the Vicenzaoro

Dubai - International Gemological Institute DMCC (IGI), the world's largest independent gem certification and appraisal institute for diamonds, coloured gemstones and jewellery will be hosting an on-site diamond laboratory for the first time in Dubai at the Vicenzaoro from 23rd to 26th April 2015, says a report. Vicenzaoro will be held in Dubai World Trade Centre.

The said on-site diamond lab facility will provide visitors with expert real-time advice on the quality of their diamond jewellery. IGI School of Gemology will also host awareness events on diamond and gemstone testing, adds a report. One of IGI's seminars at Vicenzaoro will cover the subject of diamond treatments with focus on detection and identification on 26 April, 2015 at 10:30 AM followed by the seminar on precious gemstones at 2:30 PM. Both the seminars will be conducted by Rashna Doctor, Training Manager, IGI School of Gemology, says a report.
