IGI innovates its services with a Same Day Grading Service

IGI has launched - Same Day Grading Service, where diamonds are submitted, graded and delivered within one business day. The service is available at the IGI North and South American laboratories, for natural D-Z diamonds, and also offers the IGI’s Security Seal Packaging, upon request.

The unique packaging helps in eliminating worry of the stone being tampered with after grading, as the stone is sealed in a secure and tamper-proof container, ensuring the contents were last handled by an IGI professional. “We at IGI understand time is money,” stated IGI President and CEO Jerry Ehrenwald. “We are working to ensure our clients receive the most efficient, secure and reliably graded stones available. We believe the Same Day Grading Service coupled with the IGI Security Seal Packaging does just that.”

A miniature copy of the IGI Diamond Report is enclosed within the seal (and is visible from the back). Once the packaging is opened, the IGI Seal displays a chemically-generated pattern, confirming the seal has been broken.

The Same Day Grading Service is available at an additional charge equal to 50 percent of the grading fee.
