IGI hosts graduation ceremony for its batch of 45 students

Adding to the talent pool of the Indian gem and jewelery industry, 45 students from the IGI School of Gemology received their graduation diplomas at a ceremony was held at IKXIA Lounge in Mumbai. The ceremony hosted Mr. Shailesh Sanghani of Priority Jewels, as the guest of honour. He presented the students with diplomas issued by IGI headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium. The ceremony also exhibited the designs of the graduating jewelry designers.

IGI has been conducting professional grading courses across India since 1999 and trained over 9000 students in International Gemological Standards. The 45 graduating students had received training in Graduate Gemologist, Polished Diamond Grading, Rough Diamond Grading, Diamond Graduate, Colored Stone Graduate and Professional Jewelry Design Graduate courses by the IGI.

Mr. Ramit Kapur, General Manager, IGI said, “At the IGI School of Gemology we understand the need to be the very best in the industry and ensure that we impart valuable industry know-how to our students.” Mr. Shailesh Sanghani said – “The techniques adopted by the IGI School of Gemology to impart technical know-how to its students are practical and modern in nature.
