IGI School of Gemology holds graduation ceremony

Over 40 students were felicitated upon their graduation from the IGI School of Gemology and received their certificates at the hands of guest of honour Mr. Sanjay Kothari, Vice-Chairman, Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The certificates were issued from the IGI headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium. At the ceremony, which was held at IKXIA Lounge in Mumbai, Mr. Kothari mentioned that, “The IGI School of Gemology has presented its students with bountiful of opportunities to explore, by sharing its expertise and learning’s, providing training with latest equipments; and imparting valuable technical know-how pertaining to this effervescent jewellery industry. We are proud to welcome these young professionals into an industry wherein we take pride in increasing consumer confidence through our thorough knowledge and comprehension of the dynamic jewellery industry”.

The graduating students were trained at IGI in Polished Diamond Grading Course, Diamond Graduate Course, Colored Stone Graduate Course and Professional Jewelry Design Graduate Course. Emphasising the importance of trained talent in the industry, Mr. Ramit Kapur, General Manager, IGI mentioned that “At the IGI School of Gemology we understand the pulse of the industry and accordingly impart expertise to every student”.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tehmasp Printer, Managing Director, IGI - India said, “I am thrilled to present diplomas to our students who have excelled in the program and are now ready to apply this education to their careers and see the benefits unfold”.
