IDMA Presidents' Meeting slated for Gaborone

The International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA) 2011 Presidents' Meeting is being slated in Gaborone, Botswana, from April 4 to 7, 2011, as IDMA reported in its press release. IDMA President Moti Ganz said the Meeting would be a good platfrom for its members' presidents to acknowledge the rising role of diamond manufacturing in diamond producing countries, in particular in Africa, and to remain informed about the ensuing developments for diamond manufacturers in the traditional production centers.

Jacob Thamage, coordinator of the Botswana Diamond Hub, said, "IDMA's decision to hold its next Presidents' meeting in Gaborone comes as a great honor to my country. Holding this meeting in Botswana will not only further relations between my country and IDMA but will also further cement Botswana's importance as a key player in the diamond industry.”
