IDI to organise Israeli pavilion at VICENZAORO First 2011

The Israeli Diamond Industry has confirmed participation at the VICENZAORO First 2011, with a dedicated national pavilion organized by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) with leading Israeli manufacturers and exporters. The pavilion is located at the prestigious Diamond Avenue in Pavilion G.

IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said: “The Israeli Diamond Industry views the European markets with great interest. VICENZAORO is the first major event on the European diamond and jewelry calendar. The Israeli Diamond Industry is seeking to develop this market, especially with the high end jewelry and watch sectors. IDI is committed to supporting the industry by having a presence at this show.”

Four Israeli companies - AFIC Diamonds Ltd., B.S.M. Diamonds Ltd., Kristal Diamonds Ltd. and SDE Group. Gal Diamonds Ltd. will be exhibiting at the show at Pad A, showcasing loose stones and diamond-set jewellery and a wide variety of goods. IDI is also making efforts to keep its visitors informed about its participation through a mini-site on the IDI diamond portal.

VICENZAORO First 2011 is slated between January 15 - 20, 2011. In 2010, Israel clocked net exports of polished diamonds worth $5.8 billion.
