IDI prepares to participate at IIJS Signature with 16 companies

The Israeli Diamond Industry is preparing to host 16 Israeli diamond companies at the forthcoming IIJS Signature Show in Mumbai, India, slated between January 6 - 9, 2012. The Israel Diamond Pavilion will be located in Hall #5 and will include A S Diamonds, AG Diamond Direct, Avi Paz Group, Eyal Mizrahi, Hausman Diamond Manufacturers, Iris Shirtal Diamonds, Julius Klein – Eliaz Diamonds, Leo Schachter Diamonds, MID Diamonds, Moshe Levy Diamonds, Moti Kashi, Ofer Mizrahi Diamonds, S. Juwal & Co, Sahar Atid, Shlomo Bichachi Diamonds and Vision Diamonds. For some of the companies this is their first time exhibiting in India.

IDI Chairman Moti Ganz said that hopes for the IIJS show were high. “India is a key market for the global diamond industry and for Israel especially. We are optimistic that the show will be a positive opening note to another good year for the Israeli Diamond Industry,” he said. IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said that the Israeli Diamond Industry views the diamond sector in India as an important strategic partner. “We are currently participating in three important trade shows in India. We are pursuing a targeted advertising and public relations program there and we are planning additional marketing efforts.” Avidar stated.

IDI will have an image booth in the pavilion at IN J 022, 24 to inform about the Israeli industry and to register buyers for the Israeli Diamond Portal site.

The IIJS Signature Show is organised by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India, the apex body for India’s gem and jewellery trade.
