IDCA to honour its founder at award ceremony

The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA) of New York, USA has elected honourees to be awarded at its 24th Annual Tucson Gala Awards. During the ceremony IDCA will pay tribute to its founder-member Haridas Kotahwala, and honour him with the Pioneer Award. Also, the IDCA board has elected Govind Gupta, Chairman & Director of Kagem Mining Limited to receive the Emerald Award at the award function. Kagem Mining is a joint venture with the Government of the Republic of Zambia, and the largest emerald mining company in Africa.

The Award gala is slated to be held during the AGTA Gem Show which will take place at the Marriott University Park Hotel, on February 10, 2008. Also, IDCA has announced its list of new board members for 2008:
