Hari Krishna Exports organizes Samjan no Setu

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. undertook another step towards its employee welfare initiatives by organizing “Samjan no Setu” for 53 couples on 20thNovember, 2016.

The event unfolded amidst the presence of dignitaries including Mahant Shri Devprasadji Maharaj, Shri Govindhbai Dholakia, and Founder of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Savji Dholakia, along with the entire Dholakia family, partners and promoters witnessing the Samuh Lagan (mass wedding).

Over 7000 guests participated in the function that included a dinner reception for them. The 53 newly-wed couples received a royal trousseau-kit comprising of diamond jewellery and household items.

The four brothers Himmat Dholakia, Tulsi Dholakia, Savji Dholakia and Ghanshyam Dholakia were inspired to create a platform as the mass wedding, a few years ago in 2013 at the time of a Pravachan of Tulsi Vivah during Bhagwat Saptah (organised by them in December 2013). This led to the first Samuh Lagan being organized in 2013, with 49 couples tying the knot. There were 66 weddings in 2015 and 53 weddings in 2016.

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. as a company emphasizes on care for its employees through initiatives that help secure the future of its employees and their families. A single cheque of Rs. 82 lakhs was granted to the family of the deceased diamond artist as the company had safeguarded the employee by taking life insurance policy for him.
