HRD announces 14th HRD Awards

The 14th edition of Antwerp World Diamond Centre’s (AWDC) HRD Awards diamond jewellery design competition is underway, with the theme of “You and Me”. This theme for HRD awards 2011, intends to inspire contestants to create using the concept of dualism, where two elements interplay which are irreversibly intertwined, both complementary and contradictory.

The HRD Awards diamond jewellery design competition was conceived as a valuable platform that fosters creative talent. Continuing its procedure as in previous years, AWDC will coordinate the extensive global promotional campaign to highlight the jewellery produced by the finalists and laureates of the HRD Awards 2011. It includes a trilingual printed and online catalogue, an international media programme, and an international travelling jewellery exhibition and industry events during 2011 and 2012.

HRD has announced the deadline for the HRD Awards 2011 as October 15, 2010. There is an elite panel of international judges who will select the finalists and first place winner. An awards ceremony is planned for the June 30, 2011. HRD has launched a dedicated HRD Awards 2011 website accessible on www.hrdawards.com.
