Gold recovers by Rs.20 to Rs.30,250 per 10 grams

Gold prices rose by Rs 20 to Rs 30,250 per ten gram in the national capital on Saturday driven by scattered buying by retailers, reports say. Traders attributed this rise in prices to some scattered buying by the retailers for the ongoing marriage season. Gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity recovered by Rs 20 each to Rs 30,250 and Rs 30,050 per ten gram respectively, while sovereign held steady at Rs 25,000 per piece of eight grams.

Silver ready also rebounded by Rs 400 to Rs 43,400 per kg while weekly-based delivery held steady at Rs 42,375 per kg. On the other hand, silver coins remained stable at Rs 82,000 for buying and Rs 83,000 for selling of 100 pieces.
