It has recovered three diamonds of over 100 carats from Letšeng mine in past two months

A 100 carat white, type IIa diamond was recovered by Gem Diamonds from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho. The company noted that it recovered three diamonds over 100 carats since the past two months: a 164 carat D type IIa diamond recoevered in May and a 103 carat yellow diamond, reports say.

The company also noted that its diamond production at the Letšeng mine in June stood at $22 million, or an average price of $2,087 per carat, from an average price of $1,599 per carat achieved at the first three tenders of the year, reports add.
