GJEPC to organize TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting seminar

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is hosting the 3rd edition of its ‘Trends Seminar about Jewellery’, powered by TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting seminar, this month. The initiative aims to at educating the members and students of gem and jewellery Industry on latest jewellery trends of specific markets namely Europe and USA.

The seminar is slated between February 25 to 26, 2014.

TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, an internationally renowned consulting firm based in Italy and also an Independent division of Fiera di Vicenza (Vicenza Fair) has been selected to conduct this prestigious Seminar cum Workshop.

Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC highlighted the need for an understanding on the trends in the international markets, especially as ‘Indian products have without doubt created a niche for itself due to its flair of combining contemporary sensibilities with traditional aesthetics. US & Europe remain one of the major markets for Indian exports’. He further added that, “Extensive knowledge of the market and high sensitivity towards consumer interest is essential in our trade”, making the event more meaningful for the industry.

This initiative is a part of GJEPC’s continuous effort to train and equip the Indian Manufacturers with the latest in global trends and consumer preferences.

The Council will organize a workshop session with leading industry personalities speaking on pre-defined topics. Having identified US and Europe as key export destinations, the next step to create “Brand India” would be to ensure dominance in these centers.
