GIA to hold Jewelry Career Fair & Open House this October

GIA (Gemological Institute of America) is hosting its Jewelry Career Fair & Open House in Southern California at its world headquarters - Carlsbad. The event, considered the industry’s preeminent recruiting event is slated on October 11. The platform will offer hundreds of hiring opportunities in gems and jewellery, panels featuring industry leaders discussing design, creative careers and job success in today’s market; one-on-one career coaching; and classroom demonstrations.

Representatives from gem and jewellery companies, including marketing, sales, design and manufacturing firms, are expected to attend in view of scouting skilled and motivated professionals at every career stage.

The fair is FREE and open to the public and marks the one time a year when GIA’s scenic Carlsbad campus is entirely open to the public.

Attendees will be among the first to see Hollywood design legends Tony Duquette and Hutton Wilkinson’s first-ever all-jewelry exhibit, “More is More: Tony Duquette - Hutton Wilkinson Jewelry,” which debuts the night prior.
