GIA prepares a host of activities for its presence at JCK Las Vegas show
GIA is preparing to have a very active presence at the JCK Las Vegas Show this month. It plans to host special free in-booth presentations, demos, education seminars and an exclusive sneak peek at the Institute’s Carlsbad museum exhibit at its booth.

GIA In-booth briefings will be an opportunity to witness 20-minute in-booth briefings, where Institute experts shed light on some of the industry’s most relevant topics. There will be a Show Service Laboratory where show attendees can access gem identification and country-of-origin services. The Beauty of Science: Museum Displays will deliver a peak into GIA’s Carlsbad exhibit “The Beauty of Science: Gems & Gemology Celebrates 80 Years, Featuring the Artistry of Harold and Erica Van Pelt,” where pieces of historic and gemological significance featured on three different covers of the Institute’s award-winning scientific journal will be displayed side-by-side with their iconic Van Pelt photos. GIA will also offer Education Seminars where Andy Lucas, GIA’s manager of field gemology and course development, will present two seminars. Identifying Diamond Treatments, Colored Stone Treatment Update and GIA Experts at Free Seminars are the other highlights of the GIA offering at JCK. JCK Las Vegas is slated between May 30 – June 2.
