Fiera di Vicenza presents Italy’s jewellery and craft at IIJS 2013

Fiera di Vicenza presented a portfolio of Italian jewellery, goldsmith’s creations and technology at the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS). The IIJS is being held from 8 to 12 August at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, showcasing the best in India’s gem and jewellery industry and inviting international counterparts to share knowledge, and develop ties.

Tyhe show will host the VICENZAORO Italian Club, a traveling exhibition created by Fiera di Vicenza to internationally promote jewellery and goldsmith’s creations as an authentic expression of the values of Italian-style “Made in Italy” creations. Additionally participants at the show will get to experience VICENZAORO T-GOLD International, an opportunity to introduce a wide range of equipment, products of genuine Italian innovation and high technology, to jewellery manufacturers from all over the world.

With approximately 800 exhibitors on a 46,000 Sq. m floor (IIJS 2012 data), the Mumbai Show is an extraordinary business opportunity for Asian-Pacific retailers, buyers and manufacturers. The Show holds tremendous potential for Italian Companies: the Asian country in fact, along with China, ranks among the top consumers of gold, with approximately 20 percent of global demand.

This is the first time Fiera di Vicenza is featuring at a pavilion at the IIJS. This followed the 2012 international cooperation agreement between Fiera di Vicenza and the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), organizer of the IIJS.
