Eshed Diam honoured with Award for Excellence

Eshed Diam, a global market leader in procurement, manufacturing and marketing of large diamonds, has received an Award for Excellence from the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce (IACC), for its outstanding contribution to expanding Israel's exports to Asia in 2010. In the said year the company was recognised as amongst Israel's top 30 Israel diamond exporters.

Complimenting the company’s continuous increase in annual diamond exports, and marketing policies in Asia, IACC president Ran Cohen said that its achievements are ‘a shining example to other companies’.

Eshed Diam founder and owner Avraham Eshed received the IACC Award at the hands of Shalom Simchon, Israel's Minister of Industry, Trade and Labor, at the Chamber's annual gathering in the presence of members of the diplomatic corps from a range of Asian countries.

"During the past decades, Eshed Diam has established a significant and loyal client base in Hong Kong, greater China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand & India" Eshed noted. "These markets are displaying continuous growth and we are glad to be among those companies that have contributed to unlocking these markets for diamonds cut and polished in Israel."

Eshed Diam was formally established in 1980, and is identified as a pioneer amongst Israeli firms in manufacturing and marketing of large diamonds of five carats and larger. Eshed, who works in close cooperation with his sons Lior and Liran, is a founding board member and one of the owners of Sarin Technologies.
