Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd eyes retail market

Jewellery manufacturing company Emerald Jewel Industry India Ltd., plans to step into the retail market, advancing from its existing profile as supplier to the jewellery wholesale market, reports say. The company is based in southern India in Coimbatore.

The company intends to take its retail strategy forward through business associates. It has identified its first three stores to open in Puducherry, Kallakurichi and Coimbatore, all of which are in South India, in the following weeks.

Its retail formats would be through stores retailing jewellery exclusively manufactured by Emerald Jewel under the brand ‘Jewel One’ in addition to stores which also stock their own jewellery, reports say.
