De Beers delays S.A. Sight

The De Beers South African Sight has been delayed by a week, as reported by AFNS. The delay was casued due to the company not able to export its South African goods to London for aggregation, following a regulatory issue regarding two needed exemptions.

De Beers is required to sell 40 percent of its South African production to the South African sightholders and 10 percent to the State Diamond Trader, as per the South African law.

The sight will be held on September 29, and until then the 17 domestic clients of the company will receive goods from its South African mines.
