The India International Jewellery Week 2015 (IIJW) powered by GIA on Day three was a culmination of dazzle and grandeur. A showcase of “Jewels by Preeti”, created by Preeti Jain delivered creations in solitaires and dainty designs. Her “Papillion” collection for “Jewels by Preeti” was inspired by the delicate colourful butterfly, depicting coloured gemstones to highlight the designs. Bollywood star, Ileana D’cruz adorned a diamond and emerald necklace, armlet and danglers. Much of the creation was a versatile collection for the stylish girls including necklaces and matching head gears in diamonds and polkis, bracelets, waistbands and rings teamed with hair ornaments. For the mature woman, the designer offered polki and diamond studded Raani Haars and temple jewellery. Made from 18 and 22 K gold, Preeti added diamond and polki “Passa”, which can be worn with western and ethnic garments.

Diosa (which means goddess in Latin) Jewels, created by Darshan Dave in sterling silver, were exclusively made with Swarovski Zirconia. The show was presented in association with Swarovski Gemstones. The Diosa Jewels show with the sensational jewellery brought to centre stage finely visualized ornaments and the Art of Dance. The showstopper was Ujwalla Raut adorning a choker with multiple strands, trellised earrings and bangles. Miss India Sushree Shreya Mishra opened the show with a green zirconia and pearls necklace teamed with shoulder dusters. Singer, Mansi Scott was seen in a double layered necklace, imposing rings and multiple rows of bangles. Sophie Choudhary, rocked down wearing a stunning wide choker, which flowed into a giant red flower, a tiara for her crowning glory, cocktail rings and bracelets.

AAKS Jewels Pvt Ltd, Delhi showcased a collection of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, regal sapphires along with white corals and amethysts. AAKS Jewels signature designer, Alka Kumar brought forth rows of pearls, rubies and emeralds with assorted pendants, gold and emerald strands. The stopping entry was Bollywood beauty, Kiara Advani, who glided in wearing an impressive Maatha Patti, ruby/pearl necklace, cocktail ring and wide cuff.

Gemological Science International, an independent gemological laboratory, presented the collection of couture designer Anand Shah called “The Garden of Eden”. Mother Nature was the inspiration for Anand Shah’s jewels, crafted in gold. Antique finish gold jewellery was rendered with textures and highlighted with ancient craft techniques. Filigree, granulation and unique surface treatment along with kundan settings were blended to offer amazing jewellery ideal of the Red Carpet entry. Closing the show was the actor of the film “Masaan” Richa Chadda, wearing a magnificent draped over shoulders floral necklace with a matching ear-cum-head ornament.
