DTC Appoints New Executive Director, Sales and Client Services

Diamond Trading Company’s (DTC) Varda Shine announced the appointment of Mahiar Borhanjoo as DTC Executive Director, Sales and Client Services with effect from Monday 19th May.

Varda went on to explain that a key part of the DTC’s 2010 Vision is the need to ensure that they deliver maximum value to their clients; “this is exactly what Mahiar’s role is all about. It requires commercial expertise, an ability to forge genuine business partnerships, an outstanding record in leading sales teams and the ability to develop targeted offerings for our Sightholders,” Varda added.

Along with these skills, Mahiar has a proven track record in client relations and customer service and in developing and streamlining key systems and processes to improve customer satisfaction. He joins DTC from Etelcare Global Solutions in Los Angeles, a global provider of Business Process Outsourcing, where he held positions of Director of Client Relations and Programme Management and, most recently, Vice President, Financial Services and Customer Care.

The DTC’s transformation isn’t simply about achieving its Vision for 2010; it is also about ensuring that they have a sustainable and vibrant business going forward. In appointing Mahiar Varda hopes to introduce the additional skills needed to turn the unique expertise of the Sales and Client Services department into maximum value for the DTC and its clients.
