Christie’s to auction Elizabeth Taylor’s collectibles

Auction house Christie’s plans to offer the collectables of Hollywood legend - late Elizabeth Taylor across a number of its forthcoming sales, reports inform. The collection includes jewellery, art, fashion and memorabilia.

Messrs. Lash and Porter, who have worked with Elizabeth Taylor and her family over the past two decades, and are now entrusted with her collection. Taylor’s jewellery collection is believed to be worth around $150 million. Stephen Lash, chairman emeritus of Christie’s Americas, and Marc Porter, chairman of Christie's Americas, also said the auction house would sell the collection in a series of sales to be announced later in the season.
