Chopard collaborates with Weinstein Company major 2012 events

Adds another chapter to its association with cinema

Chopard, the renowned watch and jewellery maker has added another chapter to its long years of association with cinema. It recently announced becoming the official partner of The Weinstein Company major 2012 events in connection with the most prestigious international awards ceremonies and film festivals. Chopard is also been the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival and also has a dedicated trophy – Chopard Trophy which honours young talent at Cannes Film Festival each year.

The watch maker celebrated its collaboration with Weinstein Company major 2012 events beginning at a party held in Los Angeles on January 15th for the Golden Globe Awards, followed by an after party in London for the BAFTAs on February 12th, a party in Los Angeles for the Academy Awards (t) yesterday and will be followed by parties at the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals.

Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, driving force behind Chopard's unique relationship with the world of cinema, commented: “I am very excited by this partnership, working together with The Weinstein Company means so much when you love cinema and its universe.”

Harvey Weinstein said "We are thrilled to be back in business with Chopard who have a great history of supporting the arts and cinema in particular”.

At the events, which celebrated the association, star celebrities lent to the glittering evening with their Chopard creations including - Berenice Bejo, Georgina Chapman, Malin Ackerman, Missi Pyle, Penelope Ann Miller, Bar Refaeli, Dolores and Carmen Chaplin, amongst others.
