Changes take place at HRD Antwerp’s Board

On November 20th, HRD Antwerp and Mr. Couvreur ended their contract in mutual agreement. Marc Descheemaecker is independent member of the HRD Antwerp Board of Directors. In the transitory period until a new general manager is appointed, he will assist and coordinate the HRD Antwerp management team on a part time basis. He will also act as chairman of the management committee. The search process which will lead to a swift appointment of a new general manager has already been started.

Mr. Pol Van der Steen has resigned his current position as member of the HRD Antwerp Board of Directors. Mr. Van der Steen agreed to assist HRD Antwerp as a specialised technical consultant. He will contribute significantly to the development of specialised diamond certification programmes in which HRD Antwerp is a leader in its field.
