Celebrating the modern woman of today, CaratLane - India’s leading omnichannel jeweller showcased their upcoming and latest jewellery at the recent India International Jewellery Week 2017 at St. Regis, on 23rd September 2017. The brand unveiled a stunning lineup of everyday wear jewellery. With muses ranging from nature to architecture, traditional techniques to popular trends, the collections showcased jewellery that's reinvented for the woman of today.
CaratLane exhibited jewellery from collections such as Aaranya, Peacock, Butterfly, Lotus, Bombay Deco, Dhokra, Ikat, Uttarakshin, Sway, and Un-nostalgic Gold to celebrate the upcoming festive season. Each collection narrates the brand’s design philosophy - to craft jewellery that makes the wearer ‘feel’ beautiful, drawing out her compelling individuality, inner confidence and self-esteem.

The show ended with little Miss Aarya Joshi (Seen in the picture above) with the jewellery designers Chetan Sharma and Sumanpreet Kaur who walked the ramp for the brand as the showstopper donning an angel like white dress complimented with jewellery from CaratLane’s Wonderland Collection for kids.
Giving you a brief description of each collection, here’s what the models sported while sashaying on the ramp for CaratLane:
Aaranya - This collection is an ode to the beautiful trees of the forest. It marvels at the artistic pattern of wood grains, the exquisitely entangled roots, and the curvaceous leaves of the tree. The fine details that form this wonder of nature are translated into mesmerising designs.
Peacock - This collection is inspired by the bird's elegant poise. It brings a skilful combination of gold, diamonds and enamels in shades of blue, green and yellow. Each design of the collection recreates the lustrous eye of the peacock with an intricate enamelling technique.
Butterfly - This collection is an ultimate choice for a woman. It complements the spirit of a woman by celebrating her transformation into her authentic self - free to express herself, bold to go after her dreams and strong to embrace her true identity, flaws included. Vibrant and full of life, the butterflies come in shades of blue, orange and green to represent three unique identities.
Lotus - A timeless muse, brought to life using the legendary art of Gulabi Meenakari, designed for today!
Bombay Deco - A Tribute to the Mumbai We Love. The collection features unique art deco details found in Mumbai’s iconic Deco Saracenic buildings. Witness the tiered facade of Eros Theater, the beautifully curved turret of Liberty Theatre, and the curvilinear balconies of Empress Court transformed into gorgeous jewellery.
Dhokra - Tribal Designs Redefined in Elegance. The collection revisits the rustic charm of tribal jewellery in the form of elegant designs. Every piece is adorned with beautiful coil work, a predominant motif that’s used in the ancient art of Dhokra.
Ikat - Weaves of Ikat Reimagined in Gold. This collection showcases the glory of Ikat patterns with an interplay of enamels and intricate detailing. A touch of gold granules lends a beautiful contrast to the designs.
Uttarakshin - North Indian art meets South Indian style. The collection fuses the art of Gulabi Meenakari that originates from Banaras in North India with the popular coin jewellery of South India.
